I didn´t get a role in that film. As expected.
I suppose my ass isn´t fat enough. I really shouldn´t go around telling people I´m trying out for these things, or put it on a publically viewed blog. I don´t really need everyone knowing of my numerous rejections, it just makes me look like a big fat loser. Of course I am so telling people about it is just being honest I suppose.
I don´t know how long it will be before there´s anything else I have the opportunity to try out for. So I can get all excited, tell everyone and fail again.

As a committed, pro-expressionist, I would urge you to inform the world of whatever you think fit. If you feel it, then tell it. And why not?
Mind you, this may not always fit in with your blogging objectives. I'm sure there are bloggers out there who write purely for the release, not caring who reads it. I have to admit though, I haven't seen many. I have a vague impression of once seeing a site that didn't allow comments, but I can't be sure. So it has to be said, blogging, at least in respect of personal blogs, is a narcissistic activity. In fact, the first time I wrote a post in anger was about this very subject. It wasn't unitil I'd registered on Blogger, chosen the template and title, and sat down to write, I realised this about myself. I was vain. I sought the 'gaze' and approval others - considered a sin in the working-class culture I came from. Fortunately, being of sound mind, and a sceptical bent, I dropped my trousers so to speak, and directing my arse in the general direction of my 'roots'... farted! Realising narcissism was good, I wrote about it. Oh yea and verily! But I think this is a matter of
degree.
There are some, who have a need to garner as many readers as posible. And it's my belief, the most successful personal sites (generally speaking) in terms of readership, are the sucky-up blogs. These focus on non-controversial, middle-of-the-road topics. Often, nostalgia-orientated, politically naive, and careful not to challenge prevailing ideas. They rarely if ever dwell on sex (if they do, it's usually sanitised), drugs, bowel movements, pornography, religion, et al, except in condemnation, to express solidarity with the majority. People love this stuff. And although I sound judgemental in my choice of words, this is not the case. I understand their position. This is their public stance, and often, is non-representative of their private views. If you need shit-loads of readers, this is the way to go. It's logical.
Chances are, if you don't go down this road, and populate your site with radical, or 'off-colour' topics, your site is always going
to have a niche readership - birds of a feather, flock together. People who identify themselves as 'on the fringes' tend to be attracted to the, let's say, less cluttered sites.
I'm not sure whether the issue of your arse falls into any of these camps. At a guess, I'd say it's just outside of the middle, popular path. So if you want to attract more readers, go for safer subjects like shoes, and handbags (trust me, I know where this stuff draws big audiences). Otherwise, if being forthright and frank is of more value, than let it all hang out. Moan about your arse, you're talent, your luck, anything.
Sorry to hear about you not getting the role. I won't patronise you though by offering advice, telling you to keep your chin up, etc. I'd be disappointed to find out you needed it.
Groovy baby.
My ass is big enough for both of us.
Both my parents were professional actors. Was a rather stressful childhood waiting for the phone to ring.
Do what you love and things will work out. Not necessarily the way YOU planned, but things will happen.
Now, will someone please tell me how to get out of this frickin' cubicle I call an office!
