My solitude has indeed been extended. I was expecting this.. I thought.. oh for sure now I will be waiting longer than until Sunday morning for the great reunification.. perhaps Monday.. even Tuesday. Three days at the most.. I'm sure of it. It won't be that bad.
Well it's going to be a week! Almost. Not exactly sure.. but longer than I thought it would be!!!!

You titled this post so elegantly, I couldn't have put it better myself, though I might have extended it slightly to "Fucking, arseholing, cunting, twat of a volcano!". Am I allowed to use such expletives on your ilustrious Blog?
If it's about the volcano, then yes. In fact, fucking, cunting, twating yes.

What really pisses me off is there's probably no compensation... act of God and all that! How the fuck is that rationalised? If the plane crashes, or terrorists bomb the boat... I'm covered by insurance, yet... if a volcanic eruption prevents me from arriving at my embarkation point, I get Jack-shit! Tell me, what is the most unlikely event?
I know.. it totally sucks. There's no one to blame! You can't rant and rave about the incompetence of this government or that, strikers, terrorists, greedy grasping airlines... no fair! I mean.. when it comes down to it, a reasonable person will have to admit the airlines/governments are doing the right thing by not risking the lives of so many people so who do we blame.
I repeat. Fucking. Volcano.
There's a possibility I may get some compensation. I'll have to check with my insurers tomorrow. Appendages crossed!
I'm sure you will if the flight's cancelled... well you'd better.
