Oh Monday.

It's Monday.. traditional day o' whining and grumbling. And indeed, due to a certain fucking volcano I remain here alone, bashing away at the keyboard obsessively to fill the emptiness...

having said that, it's a pretty nice day.. and as I have untraditional working patterns I'm not beginning the work week today.. and I might be meeting a friend at a beergarden later on so woo hoo or 2 is in order.

Oh and it's word day. Today's word is:

scapegrace: A reckless, unprincipled person; one who is wild and reckless; a rascal; a scoundrel.
Doesn't sound like a very nice person at all.

*sniffs disapprovingly*

S'me again... somehow I lost a day or so, but no matter...

Well, as I write I see things are getting moving flight-wise, so you get Erik to return soon and chances are, I get to mosey on off, up and down the Nile! Woot!

Good word, scapegrace, and not one I've heard before, which is nice. Sounds descriptive of a typical politician.

Hope the good weather continues.

Well.. it just got colder and will probably rain later on.. oh and the computer died AGAIN and this time I didn't resurrect it in the morning..  so grr, grr and grr.

On a nicer note, it's supposed to be real warm and sunny all next week and Erik is due to be coming home soon so..

but still.

In all probability, the weather will improve for you soon. Not that I know anything about the climate around your parts, I just said that as matter of course. Have you noticed how we do that, say things like, "I'm sure things will improve!", even though we have no grounds for it? It's logically true that things will either improve, stay the same, or get worse! Gosh, I'm so informative! Ahem...

You know, I'm thinking, maybe I ought to get writing on my blog. At the minute, I'm treating yours as a kind of quasi-weblog by writing extensive comments - I'm like a carbuncle on the underbelly of your craft! Ooooh! I came over all literary (or is it 'literate'?).

Not that I want to stop commenting on yours...

Yes! About time... I'm sick of checking and seeing the ole "from the eastern skies it came"

or whatever skies.. beside the point. Write already.. don't have nearly enough blogs to read :) specially when I'm properly online :Z
