And speaking of...

Christmas that is. It's beginning to look like it. That is, it snowed.. a bit at least and some snow stayed on the ground giving it that "it's winter" look. And it's pretty.

Anyway that's all I had to say.

We've had a dusting of snow too, but it doesn't seem like Christmas, more like a desperately fucking cold wintry day we could well do without!

Do I sound codgerish?

[previous comment deleted due to my anally-renentive insistence I remove a typo]

Hehe.. you know, I read it over a few times, (in the comment update I received in email) and couldn't find the typo, as far as I know you were referring to an extraneous word that you, having read your comment over, decided you would rather not include.. am I right? If so, I'm not sure that's a typo exactly...

Yes, that does sound very codgerish, in fact, complaining about the weather is second only to muttering something about "young people" in codger circles..

having said that, complaining about the weather is awfully common among all people of all ages and all walks of life, especially when it's the slightest bit nippy and/or there's a bit of precipitation falling that it seems to blend in with everyone else grumbling about whatever the weather gods are doing to us now, and on top of that, in England, I've heard.. it seems to be particularly common.

Spot on! Twas an extraneous word that appalled my authorial sensibilities!
