My mission.

I'm here to write about writing, for what else would I write about? Well, stuff, hopefully, but not yet.

Last year, the year of our Lord 2016 I wrote a total of 16 posts. For the whole year. This year has been more productive as far as the blog goes, and I think I've passed last year's total already, possible did about a month ago, so there's not much to aim for with that, but one thing I can do is aim to beat last year's total in one month. I'm not going to promise to post every day of this month, I'm already doing that with the video thing, and that's full of useless filler videos with the occasional somewhat thought out and time consumingly edited useless cheesy video and I don't need quite so much of that in written form, so I'll go with about half of that. I will write at least 16 times during this month of May, 2017.

That's all I wanted to say.

These timelines.

So.. another May is over.. just now, and we'll be having a June soon. It's always interesting.. at this passing of the month, and by interesting I mean something that a very boring person who's nerdy about these particular things notices, for no particular reason, but I do think that this month has been a kinda significant one. Maybe. Probably all of them are, but this one has brought changes, mostly moving, we've now been in this place for a month, and I can't make up my mind whether it seems like it's been longer or shorter. I often feel that way about things. The rest has been a mix of good and bad.. from very far on one spectrum, to not very far at all on the other but I'll still say that interesting, non-negative which could in some way be construed as actually positive have occurred. Well maybe.

So yeah.. May's been alright. Today I woke up.. well woke up, didn't sleep much because of a splitting headache caused by like.. a beer and a half and felt crummy, but I got better and went to work and didn't have a tour and walked home and it looked like rain but it didn't. Exiciting? No. Particularly good? No. Enough to make up for all the shit I've been dealing with? Not close. The worst thing ever? Not really. I'm waiting for that.

Because I haven't complained about this in a while..

It's a while since I've referenced one of my favourite subjects on this here blog.. a while being, since the last time I talked about it which isn't that long ago for people with like.. "interesting lives" and "stuff to write about".. but for me, it's been a while.

Dammit it won't stop raining! I mean, it stops, but it rains at least a bit almost every day, and though it's usually a mixture of sunshine and cloud we haven't returned to the days of.. that is the one or 2 days at the beginning of the month before it started primarily raining except for that day 2 weeks ago when it was really warm and looked like for once and for all it was going to be a lovely May.. and it cooled down considerably the next day and was overcast.

I really should do something about these run on sentences.

Point being. This May sucks. Weatherwise at least. I've had access to a computer for most of it which is actually more important to me if one were to be completely honest.

Well that's done.

He's back, showered, luggage is strewn on the floor, the cat is behaving oddly.. we're settled in. We can have June now.
