Been a quiet month..

well, I've been quiet here, this city has been quiet relative to recent months and most likely next month. The world hasn't been quiet but the world never really is, some things just get out attention more. It's decided it's winter here after a mild and almost warm late-ish autumn. It's a bit of a shock really, not sure I like it, but that's the way the seasons go, it's hot it's cold and in between it's usually overcast and drizzly and forgettable. Thus is life.

It's the same here, with the current cold spell coming as a shock, though I don't see why - this is my 66th winter.

Same old "problems". Plenty going on inside my head (maybe too much) but I'm unable to reveal it to the world. Maybe that's a good thing...

yes, guess it's the same here, not everything is for the rest of the world to hear, and mostly, in my case, I just don't know how to put it out there, even if I wanted to.

anyway with the silly season coming up.. what do I mean coming up I mean "here" I should have some sufficiently trivial things to write about.. might get me going, then again, no promises.

That was a quick response by recent standards. Am I right in thinking your seasonal work has finished for the time being?

I think of blogging on occasion, but that's as far as it goes.

I just read that introverts (such as myself) can unwittingly choose to be depressed. It seems in order to validate the way we define ourselves (as melancholy thoughtful beings) we seek out more wistful experiences than is good for us.... reaches for the Best of the Beach Boys album... that ought to fix me!

oh I expect I'll have some seasonal themed statement at some point, at least one.

and, don't be depressed, I know it's useless to say that but don't ok? If the Beach Boys help then go for it.

Hurrah! Due to your exhortations, I'm strangely overcome by a feeling of submission (I tend to err on the side of Dominance usually) and now I feel the power of your urging... I'm not depressed anymore!

Jus' kiddin :)
