Ok, there's no fun thing about having no internet.. there's nothing either neutral about having no internet, it's pure hell and nothing less.. but the fun thing about having no internet.. that is, having to go other places other than your home to get online is.. well nothing it sucks, totally completely and absolutely, but the fun thing about it is, the other people. And the other stuff. And the way you can write about them while you're there and they're chatting away or there's a song from the 80s.. the Power Of Love I believe on the radio.. but the Czech version. Yes, there's a Czech version.. there are Czech versions of a lot of pop songs.. and there's a radio station that plays a lot of them, and the pub downstairs in my building has that one playing all the time. So there you go. Fun.
Earlier on I was in a cafe, in the centre, a reasonably swanky place and 2 dudes came in, and one was very clever, very clever indeed, or so he believed and he talked on and on and on about clever stuff.. as the other guy siid.. yes, oh you're so right.. that sort of thing. hmm.. and aha.. etc.. I found it amusing, so I wrote about it in another capacity.. RIGHT WHILE I WAS SITTING THERE.
See.. fun. Ok so I'm easily amused. Sue me.
Oh and getting online in pubs makes it necessary to drink beer.. you may not have noticed that already..

Ok..
One more. Just one more for this month to make it an even number.
Finally got to just run across the road for some beer and food.. I mean I could have done it at any point but I didn't feel like doing it alone but I didn't and now I have someone to go with so I did.
It was nice. And now we can have June.

Who Would Jesus Stiff?
I went to my usual class again last night. Well it's not all that usual, I've been missing a lot of classes lately due to a major block in creativity. I sucked. I did a door and it was bad. Everyone else in the class was brilliant so I feel extra crappy in comparison to everyone.
But it doesn't matter. What matters is the beer. After class we went to the pub. We sat around, drinking beer, talking, laughing and trying to outdo each other in wit and charm. I won of course but I don't think anyone recognized that I did.
After a bit of joking around JP, a member of our christian family started talking about Jesus to a member of the class, and from what I could understand was trying to "save" him. It didn't appear to work, though the guy was listening to him, he was obviously treating it as a joke.
But JP was not deterred. He turned to John, another class member who had become interested in the conversation. They began a debate which included a lot of stuff I'd heard before from reading about this a lot on the internet, JP was saying the prayer you need to say to let Jesus into your heart and talking about His great gift that you just have to accept, while John was asking a lot of typical questions of skeptics. I listened in to most of it as I found it interesting. Both were very committed to their views but it stayed civil, and when they finished talking they were still friends who both believed exactly what they believed before they began the conversation.
JP was obviously in the mood for some Jesus talk, he turned to me and asked if I wanted to get the gift of getting into heaven (or something like that) and I told him I don't believe there is a heaven, and he said ok and moved on to the guy next to me, who gave his own reason for not wanting to listen to it, and JP left it.
So it was ok. Nice guy if a bit young and idealistic, though that's just my opinion. Then it was time for them to go. JP and his group left. It didn't look like he'd left money so we figured he'd paid at the bar for their group. Whatever, we carried on...
but, about an hour later, when the last of us paid the bill there was a discrepancy. Everyone paid for their own, but there was some mysterious beers left over.
The Christians didn't pay!
Seriously.
Moral of the story is, if you're going to try to make people follow your religion by promising them a gift of love and an afterlife full of happiness and plenty, then don't leave them with your bill.
Seriously, pay for your beers Christians. You'll get more converts that way.

Evening in the park..
I'm off to class soon, though we don't really have class today, it's more of a sorta something like class but not class class. Both of our regular teachers are busy and we don't have the keys to our usual space, so we're meeting outside the building at a regular time and will go off somewhere.. park, pub, someone's flat... pub.. outside the studio... pub.. and do our stuff. One of our students is more advanced than the rest of us, having studied it in America too, so she'll be guiding us through our exercises, not teaching, just sort of teaching.
Not sure how much will get done. It will probably be more like a "rehearsal" which is something we're supposed to do a few times a week but I hardly ever do. I actually had one yesterday though, which was in the park. About 8 people said they'd show up but one other person aside from myself did. We went through one exercise, which was kinda lazy and short, but it was something.
So, if we're in the park again I think we'll get anything done. We're just going to have to do it in the pub.

Been quite successfull so far..
I've had a bit of a writer's block lately. This isn't really so unusual because the epochs during my blogging career so far in which I've had a one idea after another have been few and far between. And not very long. So no big deal, but I got to wondering why I just couldn't for the life of me come up with an idea to write about. Well, for one thing I haven't come across many stories on the internet that I feel like blogging, and I haven't been much into reposting a funny story with a bit of snarky comment much lately, though I did it the other day, no mostly I've been into blogging about myself, and my own life, things that happen to me.
That's the problem. I haven't done anything! I looked back on this year so far and I literally have not done a thing! Well I've written stuff, read stuff and taken photos, but I haven't done anything out there I haven't been, as they say "living". Except for that one time I went out on a Saturday, but that didn't turn out to be anything to write home (or on my blog) about. And that's it, nothing that I've been involved in is anything to write about, and considering the non-subjects I usually write about that's saying something.
So that solves that mystery. I'm going across the road to the pub in a minute... might have something to eat. I'll let you know how it went.
