It's a great word, but I think it deserves a better meaning, something that relates to the word itself. I was thinking of one of those cup holders, structured like trees, allowing cups or mugs to be hung from them - "the mugs? Oh, you'll find plenty hanging on the mugwump in the kitchen!". Good innit?

ReplyDeleteit could also be a funny expression pulled by a somewhat foolish person.. ie silly look on their "mug"...
or it could be both... you should be able to tell which one is referred to by the context.. usually..
